Identify Barriers. Improve Accessibility. Enable Participation.
About the Service
Orange2Green provides Physical Accessibility Audit services to help organizations identify barriers that may prevent persons with disabilities from accessing and using their facilities.
The objective is to identify accessibility gaps and provide practical recommendations for creating a more accessible and inclusive environment.
Why It Matters
A single step at an entrance, a narrow doorway or an unusable washroom can exclude employees, students and visitors. Many of these barriers go unnoticed until someone is affected. An audit finds them systematically, so you can fix what matters most first.
Areas We Assess
Audit Process
On-site walk-through of the facility and its use.
Reviewing each area against accessibility requirements.
Recording barriers and gaps area by area.
Observations documented with evidence where appropriate.
Practical, prioritized actions for each gap.
A sequenced plan your facilities team can act on.
Deliverable
Every audit ends with a written report that your management and facilities teams can act on.
| Area | Observation | Priority | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Main entrance | Raised threshold at the door, no ramp | High | Provide a ramp with handrails at a gentle gradient |
| Ground-floor washroom | Door too narrow for a wheelchair | High | Widen doorway; add grab rails |
| Lobby signage | Low-contrast text, no tactile cues | Medium | High-contrast signs with tactile and pictogram support |
